Wowda says no major opposition coalition will be formed after EID

After Eid-ul-Fithr, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was preparing an anti-government movement, Senator Faisal Wawda rejected the idea that a major opposition coalition should be formed on Tuesday and said there was nothing against the government.

“No alliance will be done and will not sit,” said the Senator while talking Geo message Project ‘Aj Shaj Kansadha K Sat’.

Last week, PTI founder Imran Khan issued an order to expedite the directive of “Eid after Eid, after Eid.”

The BTI is said to have faced “internal divisions” as members of its senior leadership have developed differences in various matters since the party’s founder was jailed in 2023.

Recently, party leader Sher Afzal Marwat was expelled, and he accused Salman Akram Raja of “D-Facto” secretary Salman Akram Raja.

Prior to Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali was dismissed as the head of the Kandapur party’s provincial chapter and was replaced by Junaid Akbar.

Separately, former PTI leader Fawat Chaudhry and party ticket holder Shoaib Shaheen had a confrontation outside the Adiyala jail, causing the latter to fell to the ground and hurt his hand.

Also, Wowda said he would not allow the PTI to stay. “He (Marwat) is an honest man and is doing independent politics,” he said.

In response to a question, he said he was not belonging to any party, and he said, “I will never join the PTI.”

Former PTI Union Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) accused the government of corruption, saying that the chatting of Imran Khan’s sister, Alima Khan’s chats, have exposed the “corruption in the province.”

PTI leaders say that “they are running their homes by defrauding party funds”. He added that it is in front.
