TinIon Bose had been traveling for two hours from his home in Kolkata, IndiaA documentary photography is one day in Sangrampur, West Bengal. “I was going around the village, I conquered the lifestyle of the local people and heard about their daily life and work and struggles,” Bose says. “I spoke to a 17 -year -old child named Ariful Alam. He is a large sunflower garden farmer. He was young and fun, and agreed to pose on the field for me. ”

Alam is wearing an Ou, or Chao, mask. “They have a significant place in the prosperous cultural heritage of Bengal,” Bose says. “They are used in a traditional folk dance Buruliya ChaoIt describes legends and folk artists and ornamental pieces. I chose to use the mask depicting the character of Mahishara from Martini Martini, 21-Sonases Stotra From the Hindu mythology. ”
In March Sunshine, men worked cooperation to create shot; Bose described his gaze for the image, and Alam recommended to raise his hands to express the emotion of the moment. “It created a significant variation; a combination of nature, heritage and culture,” Bose says. “Mahisha is a monster, so the sunflower garden is very beautiful and we are reminded that even beautiful things have their negative side.”
