At a fierce show of despair, Fatima’s father spoke for the first time during an awareness parade over the weekend. With a trembling voice, he appealed to the kidnappers: “Please release my Fatima. Think about us, human beings. We are not foreigners, we are South Africans, we live here and everything is here. We pay taxes here and we need protection. ”
