Manchester City Menager, Pep Cardiola, lamented “bad results” from his team, as Real Madrid lost to 3-2 in the first phase of the Champions League Play-off Tie on Tuesday night.
Elling Holland scored half -half.
Kylian Mpappe, Brahim Diaz and Jude Belingham scored goals for Madrid, and they go with the slim benefit of the second leg at home.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Cardiola said:
“It happens many times this season. I know the quality of Real Madrid. We took the game in the second half and tried to attack very quickly.
“This is happening because they (Real Madrid) are an exceptional group.
“This is going on many times this season. Bad results, that’s all.
“I’m taking it. This is not about you and me, this is everyone. Yes, it’s all season (wounds). But we know that. ”
