On Tuesday, two more suspects were arrested in connection with the fire of Pudko buses in Nongala two weeks ago.

The arrest of the suspects aged 31 and 33 brings the number of suspects in connection with the incident. The suspects have been accused of harming property.

“These arrests were made as part of the investigation on the 28th of January, with many Budko buses set fire to Nkangala.

“The suspects are believed to have been involved in an integrated attack on the bus navy, which caused significant damage to vehicles and threaten public security,” said police spokesman Brig Donald Muttuli.

The suspects are expected to appear before the Mdutjane Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

“It is expected that more details on their involvement in the crime during court proceedings will be revealed.”

Mumalanga Police Commissioner General Sef Makwanasi welcomed the arrest of Mumalanga, which is a significant step for justice and maintaining law and order in the province.
