Toronto’s Pearson Airport responds to an emergency involving the Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis on Monday afternoon, the airport said in a post before 3 pm
The airport is not immediately provided with more information on the nature of the emergency, but a photo submitted from a passenger to the CBC shows that a plane was flipped on its back.
The airport said all passengers and teams were calculated.
Peel Regional Auxiliary doctors say they are in the scene. They say they are dealing with eight patients involved in an emergency, but the amount of their wounds is still unknown.
The airport was previously expected to expect a busy day on Monday after the airlines were caught after 22 centimeters of snowfall, which caused heavy delays and cancellations. More than 130,000 passengers were expected to board about 1,000 flights, according to a post on Monday morning.
