A person accused in court has been arrested in Pullakan for killing the son of the National Intelligence Bureau (NPI).

The NPI has joined the Bureau of Technology Intelligence Unit (DIT), Ilocos Regional Office (Wright) and Cardillara. The administrative area (car) and the Dakuban District Office (Tato) following the months of the Manland Operation.
Garcia’s arrest is the result of a warrant issued by the Baghio City Regional Inquiry (RTC) Branch 78, where Garcia is facing allegations of murder and attempted murder.
“The material is currently being detained in the pending NPI-Bamdo in order to issue a dedicated order by the respective court,” the NPI said.
The allegations against Garcia have been formed since the killing of Luke Makkarak, the son of an NPI agent in November. 24, 2024 at Happy Homes, Paranga Fertinand, Baghuo City.
The Bureau was “Garcia’s target of Garcia was actually Gino Manolo Castilo Panda, because of the past relationship with Garcia’s girlfriend, had previously had sex with Panda.”
After the shooting, the NPI said, “Garcia has headed to different places within the city of Baghoo, Pangasinan and La Union based on technical surveillance.”
“The work team was organized by agents from Pamdo, DIT, Euro, Car and Tado,” said Garcia.
“The relentless efforts of the members of the work and the intelligence collection continued to monitor Garcia’s location successfully,” the Bureau said. (Jeffrey Damicock)
