Karachi has begun the production of driver -free cars using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which refers to a significant step in the country’s technical innovations.

The project has already seen a virtual driving system, and is underway to realize these AI-motivated vehicles on the streets.

The National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) is heading the project at the University of NED Engineering and Technology.

Engineers involved in development have said that this is the first attempt in Pakistan, and similar AI-motivated car projects are currently underway in the country.

The University of Net has been set up as the first company with a car -free car on the road in Pakistan in the future, and the testing drivers are expected within six months.

For this ambitious project, a special electronic car has been imported from China, which has now been transformed into a complete autonomous vehicle with AI tools.

In a special conversation ExpressDr. Mohammed Gurram, the project director and co -professor, said, “We are close to achieving real -time vehicle control.

Our engineers have made significant improvement in data control and software development, and within the next six months, we hope that this car can be driven on NED’s roads. ”

Research students related to the project also shared that robotics techniques are being used in conjunction with Inzamam and Aleema. The vehicle’s mapping has been completed, and the mechanisms are now successfully indicating speed limitations, material detection and path recognition.

They also highlighted that the progress was made with virtual driver simulations, and working in signal light recognition and steering control.

The National Center for Artificial Intelligence of the NED University is one of the nine centers established by the Central Government to promote research and development in AI technology.

This effort refers to an important milestone in Pakistan’s technological advancement and is expected to have significant impacts on the future of autonomous vehicles in the country.
