Spirit Brumfield is currently in the center and says she was shocked to hear that the facility would be closed.
“I think it is very crazy to close them when these schools don’t spend a lot,” said Brumfield.
“The district is very shadow. They will not add us to the end of closing these schools. They will not ask us how we feel about it.”
Current and alumni and parents are planning to provide the Surrey School Board on Wednesday night.
This is the first time that the district is properly heard from those who are directly affected by the closure.
“My mother and I are talking about how the school helped me and how the school saved all these students,” said Brumfield.

“In addition, the major students on the edge of fighting and exit will not do this because they will not have such a safe place.”
According to the district, the center’s lease expires in June, and the building needed the reconstruction, but there was no money in the budget to repair the building or to pay more rent.
James Johnson, a retired teacher who has been working in school for eight years, argues that the opening of the center will save social money for a long time.

According to Brumfield, they will continue to struggle to open their school whatever.
