Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Sivakumar stressed that Sivakumar was an undeniable leader of the Congress party in Karnataka on Sunday and that no one needed to make his name “misuse”.
Responding to a section of party leaders, Siddaramaiah said that his leadership was concluding his entire term as chief minister, and his leadership was important to retain party power in the next election, a change in Karnataka later this year amidst potential leadership.

After the announcement of the assembly elections in May 2023, there was a fierce competition between Siddaramaiah and Sivakumar, and the Congress was able to appease the latter and made him a deputy chief minister.
The reports even came to the basis of the “rotation Chief Minister’s Sutra”, accordingly, Sivakumar will become the first two and a half years later, but they have not been officially confirmed by the party.
