Constable Pankaj Kumar Tripathi of the 53rd Battalion of CRPF was killed in a suicide attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Pankaj lived in Harpur village in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. He spoke to his wife on the phone at 10 am in the attack. When the news of the attack arrived in the evening, he tried to call again, but could not get any information.

Pradeep Singh, who sacrificed a suicide attack on a CRPF bus in Jammu and Kashmir, is a resident of Ajan village in UP’s Kannaj district. Pradeep Singh became part of the CRPF in 2003.
