Former Governor of the state of Ekki, Dr. Gayod Faymi, rejected the belief that Nigerian politicians are bitter competitors, said their perceived fights were exaggerated and often staged to entertain the public.
Speaking at the St. Martins Catholic Church in Eisan on Sunday, Fayemi described the political disagreements as a mere plays, especially on social media.
“So, all these things you have read on social media are for your hobby,” he said.
“Many people will be surprised why Governor Segun Owi is here. During his birthday, I spent the day with him.
In spite of political differences, Faymi stressed that Eki politicians are not enemies, but are firm for the progress of the state.
“The vision we always had is a state that is not divided by political divisions.
“We may be from different political parties, but a party we jointly joined – that is, the Ekki Party, the Ekki Progressive Party – our governor is carrying out it,” he said.
Fayemi expressed his deep gratitude to reflect her political journey and milestone birthdays.
“I have many reasons for me to thank God at the age of 60,” he said.
President Bola Tinubu, a tribute, praised Faymi’s role in Nigerian politics, especially his contributions to the 2013 link created by all the Progressive Congress (ABC).
“As a two -time governor, he served the people amidst serious economic challenges. There is no doubt that he expressed his identity in the administration of the state of Ekki.”

The Governor of the state of Ekki praised the leadership of Fayami, “We are proud of you. The people of Ekki are proud of your achievements; This is a 60 -year progressive impact. ”
Meanwhile, the event included former Governor Segun Owi, Deputy Governor Monisade Affuyi and the Ekki State Legislative Assembly and Adii Aribasoi.
