Some 5,000 students from the city of San Fernando-the public start of the city began an attempt to recycle single-utility plastic waste to school furniture.
ECO Protect Management Corp. This effort calls for students to be used from their homes every Monday morning for the “Lans Malinis” (Clean Monday) project of the EPMC.
The EPMC donated two 120 liters of garbage bins to the San Fernando Primary School (SFES) for the project.
For every 18 kilogram of plastic sockets collected, the EPMC produces an advanced plastic armor, which will be donated to the school again.
The SFES, with its 5,000 students, creates tons of plastic waste weekly, which can be recycled as school furniture.
SFES Chief Minister, Marilan Calma, realized that the removal of garbage was a continuous challenge at school.
Calma said that viewing a definitive product from garbage would encourage students to participate and include parents in collecting rejected plastic products.
On the other hand, the school may coordinate waste management education in the event, and the importance of recycling and plastic waste can develop a profound understanding of the harm to the environment.
“We know that trash is one of our biggest problems. We have 5,000 learners. Each contributes to solid waste. Elimination is a standard challenge. There are efforts, but we can make the students a beneficial to what we thrown through this program.”
“We teach students the solid waste administration. It is in the curriculum, but it is difficult for young students to fully understand the real products made from the waste they are rejected. This program will make them more aware of the importance of recycling,” he added.
Alein Dawn, the EPMC chairman and CEO, said 15 percent of the company’s waste for recycling comes from single -utility plastic.
The company is capable of 2,500 tonnes of 34 hectares of health at Borak Town. The landscape opened in November 2021 primarily serves the three cities of Pampanga.
