New hospital planning enters the important stage

“The group in the Brand Community Healthcare Organization has done a good job of uniting various options to review the provincial government,” Emerson said. “They have received strong support from the selected authorities and now we need a wide community.

“We have to speak with a voice. So don’t be confused about what to do.”

Former Brand County Kao is the past chairman of the Emerson Brand Community Health Organization Board of Directors. He is now head of the Health Organization’s Redistribution and Property Committee.

“I think everyone knows that we need a new hospital, which has been spoken for at least 20 years,” Emerson said. “I think everyone knows about our infrastructure issues, the sink hole and boiler fractures in the utility tunnel.

“People have to realize why the size and social support of the work that went to the new hospital project is very important.”

Emerson said Million had announced 2.5 million to help move the new hospital project forward in the planning process when he visited the Premier Duck Ford Brandford General Hospital.

Since then, hospital and Ontario health officials have been working on a new hospital at various options.

Before joining the Healthcare System, Emerson thought that, like a lot of people, the new hospital would be built somewhere near the highway 403.

However, it is not the direction provided by the province to the health system. The Health Organization has been operated by the province to use the existing infrastructure as much as possible.

But it is clear to everyone that if there is any existing infrastructure, a new hospital can be used to construct a new hospital, Emerson said.

Based on those two realities, senior health organization officials have come up with various options sent to the Ministry of Health for further review in early August.

Plans are calling for a new hospital to be built at the parking lot on the Terrace Hill Street.

The goal is to obtain the new hospital program included in the 2025 budget of the province, which is expected in the spring.

It will be an important milestone, as health officials say.

But social support is essential and the Health Organization officials and the Board will approach the Brandford, the Brand County, the Mississakas of the Credit First Countries and the six countries of the Grand River.

“We are going to list their support to spread the word ‘what we are doing and what to achieve,” Emerson said.

Health Organization Chairman and CEO Bonnie Game said that the authorities are grateful to the support health institutions provided by the Ministry of Health during the planning process.

The Game said that the planning for the new hospital continues as the problems in the existing structure continues and the community understands.

In the meantime, other communities argue for a new hospital, said Game.

But the Game and Emerson Brandford said the situation was unique.

The poor condition of the existing hospital infrastructure is a problem with the planned growth of the community.

“According to the Finance Ministry report released in the summer of 2023, we will grow more than 36 percent over the next 20 years,” the Game said. “That development, along with the infrastructure problems we are dealing with, proves how badly we need a new hospital.”
