Monte City, Sebu – Monte City Local School Board (LSP) has been allocated more than 20 million to improve daytime care centers across the city.
As part of this effort, these centers will be fitted with place, televisions, refrigerators, laptops and other educational materials to improve early childhood learning.
These improvements will be implemented under the Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program funded by the Special Education Fund.
The ECCD program is aimed at promoting young children’s cognition, physical, social and emotional development, and usually promotes learning through sports, hand -held activities and interaction with colleagues and teachers by providing a foster environment.
LSP Secretariat Atty. Laizer Malate emphasized the importance of primary education in designing the development of children.

Malate also highlighted the benefits of introducing sports -based and interactive educational materials.

Malate confirmed that the first two barricades were already purchased for Centro and Umapat. In the end, all 12 clusters of the city benefit from upgrades.
The first ECCD-compatible centers in Centro and Umapat are expected to operate by the end of the month.
