Today, March 13, in Orthodox calendar Saint NichiFore and the patriarch of Constantinople. St. Nikefore was the tribe of Constantinople from 806 to 815. He was a zealous advocation of theory of icon’s orthodox theory. However, V Armdin (813-820) sent him to disagree with an iconoclass policy. In the last years of his life, Nikefore spent on the banks of the Bosphorus, where he died in 828.
The death of theofophylus of Emperor (842), his son Michael III was down to honored the icons, which resumed the icons. In 1846, 18 years after the death of the saints, his incomplete debris moved from the monastery to conistantinopy and was in the temple of the Holy apostles. It became a symbol of conservative than iconoclass.
