NEW DELHI: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee has taken a vitrolic digging over the current Maha Kumbh over Uttar Pradesh opponent Yogi Adityanath, saying that a spiritual crowd in Prayagraj has become a “mirror”.

Responding to Mamta’s comment, the BJP’s Swettu Adhikari appealed to the Hindu and the St. community to strongly oppose the Chief Minister’s statement.
“If you are a true Hindu, you rise above politics and are fiercely opposed to these words of Mamta Banerjee,” Adhikari said.
“I appeal to the Hindu community, the St. Society, to record a strong struggle. Shortly before, the house (state legislature), West Bengal CM Maha Kumbil, raise your voice against Hinduism,” he added.
Speaking to the State Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, the President of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) launched a major width against the BJP on many issues, including the deportation of illegal Indians from the United States and the turmoil in neighboring Bangladesh.
The center said, “Our transport aircraft must have been sent to bring out the deported people from the United States,” the Bengal Chief Minister said.

Mamta, who rejected any connection with Bangladesh fundamentalists, said he would resign if the BJP could have his connection with Bangladesh fanatics.
The Chief Minister accused the BJP of using religion to serve his political interests, and also denounced the allegations that he was a member of the Muslim League.
