Barcelona manager Hansi Flik prevented the departure of the guardian Eric Garcia club during the January Transfer window.
Fabrigio Romano revealed this on a tweet via his X account on Wednesday.
According to Romano, Garcia’s contract with Gomo was finalized for nearly $ 7 million, but Flik stopped it.
“Hansi Flik prevented Eric Garcia’s exit in January because he considers Parsia’s plans,” Romano tweeted.
“The contract with the Gomo was made for nearly $ 7 million for fees and auxiliary programs, but then Eric was stopped because Flick had insisted on keeping it.”
Garcia joined Barcelona from Manchester City, the Premier League champion in 2021.
The 24 -year -old had earlier spent time in Jirona.
In La Liga last weekend, Garcia scored a 4-1 goal against Sevilla.
