According to officials in Toronto, it may take three weeks to push the traffic after a major blizzard and pile of the snow that blocks the sidewalk.

The city with the highest population of Canada was buried under a 25 centimeter snow over the weekend – the second largest dump last week.

Environmental Canada said the Winter Storm Warning issued to Toronto on Saturday was removed after the snowfall was reduced last night.

City employees say Toronto does not have to destroy this snow for more than three years from a major storm in January 2022.

They say that it may take 10 hours to destroy a kilometer of the large glacier road that has left the plows-a loader or truck-fitted ice blower slowly unloads the snow into a dump truck, and then it takes it to a city storage or melting site.

Hospitals, main roads, traffic stops, school bus loading zones and sidewalks receive the first priority.

“Toronto is a big city, this job takes a lot of time,” the city’s transport services general manager Barbara Gray said during the news conference on Monday morning.

Temporary orange signs have been set up to indicate that officials warned drivers to avoid stopping on the designated snow routes or that the snow removal was planned. They said about 2,300 vehicles were tickets.
