Indian captain Rohit Sharma has recorded a special record in the Champions Trophy against Bangladesh. Rohit has completed 11000 runs in ODIs. He was the second batsman in the world who did so at least in the innings. In this case, Rohit left Sachin Tendulkar, former Indian batsman. Rohit took 261 innings to finish 11000 runs, while Sachin achieved this record in the 276th ODI innings.

The fourth Indian scored 11000 runs

India’s star batsman Virat Kohli holds the record for completing 11000 runs in the fast ODI. Kohli reached this record in 222 in ODIs. Ricky Ponting is in fourth on the list, and he finished 11000 runs from 286 balls. Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly took 288 ODIs. Rohit is the fourth Indian who scored 11000 runs in ODIs. Before him, Sachin, Kohli and Ganguly have done so.
