The Anambra state government has confirmed that the Native Doctors arrested for engaging in fraudulent activities, especially the “Get-Finance” programs linked to the “oakite” procedures, are currently under investigation.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Commissioner of Information, Law Meifore and Prisoners are conducting a thorough inspection of security agencies, with plans to bring the accused to judge.
The move is aimed at eradicating criminal elements and regulating traditional medical procedures in the state.
He made it clear that when the government documented traditional medical practitioners, it was not issued or registered with practical certificates.
“The Anambra state government is committed to purifying the practice of traditional medicine and ensuring that those who are exploited to the unbearable residents for fraudulent purposes are being brought to justice. Complete investigations are ongoing and those who have been found guilty will be prosecuted accordingly.”
The state government approved a number of development projects during the State Executive Council meeting on Monday, in which the construction of the NZAM headquarters road in the Anambra western local government will cost N801.5 million, and a program in the Urban Child Secondary School, FEC and Oneitsa South.
The Council agreed to upgrade the secondary schools built by the community and to coordinate their teachers with government employees. Communities were advised to document non -nationals without charging, and this process is considered a social responsibility rather than an attempt to earn this process.
