Former teaching assistant accused of sexually abusing the child

A 35-year-old former teacher assistant has been accused of sexually abusing a child in Brampton in the 2017-18 school year.

Peel regional police say that the investigation began in January 2025 following the allegations of a concerned parents who claimed to be sexually abused in a school.

The incident is said to have occurred at a public school in Main and Rani STS.

A suspect was later identified and arrested on February 6.

There are allegations of sexual harassment, sexual interference and call for sexual touch on Sundib Wilk.

Although the accused is no longer hired by the school board, investigators are concerned about the possibilities of other victims, and ask anyone to come forward.
