Overnight firefighter caused significant damage to the abandoned school buildings on the northern tip of the Halifax, which has been described as a “known risk” for potential fire.
The union representing the Halifax firefighters reports that at around 2 am on Sunday morning, many of its members were invited to fire and blazed rapidly increased.
Halifax expert firefighters IAF Local 268 spokesman Brend Williams says that there were 44 firefighters at the site of the fire at the long successful school buildings on Agricola Street.

44 firefighters represent nearly half of the daily staff available in the municipality of 5,700 square kilometers.
According to Williams, the Bloomfield school site belongs to a developer and sits empty, which is “known at some time”.
Halifax reports that a report on regional fire and emergency social media at 5:45 am, and there were no injuries.
According to the fire department, the cause of the fire is being investigated and the firefighters were on the scene on Sunday for a hidden fire.
