The 145 -year -old HH is for the benefit of the company’s students. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the digital library building from Chennai on Friday through a video conference. The Swangi Library Building has been built by the Public Works Department at a cost of ₹ 6 crore.

The new library building, built in a area of ​​2,314.50 square meters, has a lot of amenities within a ground and first floor locations. The ground floor has an office room, a reading hall, Periodicals room, stack area, new books attend room, clothing room, librarian room and a book output counter. On the first floor, there is Digital Library I, Digital Library II, Committee Room, Term Halls Room, Research Discussion Room and a Reading Hall.

The State Higher Education Department issued an order on August 2022 to establish a digital library building in the college, followed by 2023. The library will be equipped with thousands of books and magazines in regular and digital format.

There are spacious halls in the library, where students can use the resources available. It has a separate hall for research scholars, which can discuss their research and provide presentations. A function was arranged for its swearing -in in the new library building, including the Pudukottai Collector M.

The college is a NAAC accredited autonomous institution that meets the higher education aspirations of over 5,000 students, most of them belong to the countryside. There are 14 departments in the college, most of which offer higher education up to PhD.
