The Rwanda -backed M3 rebels executed three children after wearing arms and uniforms abandoned by the Congo army in the eastern city of Bukhawa.
The United Nations Human Rights Office revealed this on Tuesday, and the rebels warned of other violations since the arrival of the city.
During a press conference in Geneva, UN Human Rights Office spokesman Ravina Shamdasani confirmed the reports.
“Our office checked the cases that briefly passed the children by M3 after entering Bukko last week,” he said.
Shamdasani also raised concerns over journalists, human rights defenders and members of civil society organizations who seek security from M32.
