The report further stated that he is focusing on increasing the value of Intel shareholders.

Intel, Broadcom, DSMC and the White House did not immediately respond to Reuters’ demands for comment.

The White House official told Reuters that President Donald Trump’s administration should not support the US chip factories operated by a foreign company after Bloomberg said that DSMC was considering taking a control shares in Intel’s factory at the request of Trump.

The White House official said the Trump administration supported foreign companies in the United States, but it was “unlikely to support” a foreign company that operates Intel’s factories.

Bloomberg has reported that the Trump team has raised the idea of ​​an agreement between two companies in recent meetings with DSMC officials, citing a person who is familiar with the matter.
