The iconic brandford grocery store will soon be reopened.
“I can’t give a certain date now,” the owner Anthony Debitro said Friday. “But I can say that we will open again.
“We have done some improvements in the body layout to make it easy to move customers. We hope everyone wants.”
The popular grocery store, located at 94 Gray Stint, was destroyed by fire on July 1, 2023. The damage was very severe and the shop has been closed since then.
However, work on reopening is underway, and is being closely followed by nearby residents and customers.
There are 2,300 members on the Facebook page that follows the advances of the store. The removal of fencing around the store in late July or early August created a lot of online excitement because people began to think that the reoperation would be announced.
Debitro hopes that soon a notice can be made.
In the meantime, it is difficult for the outlet employees and their families last year. But all those who are affiliated with the brand food center are heartbroken by the support of the community, Defeitro said.
“We are very grateful to have such great customers and have so much support from the community,” said Debitro. “My dad is always a great place for brandford. He said he was right.”
“As it was, it is a pleasure to know that we are appreciated.”
