BMW SA plans to export the new X3 SUV to the US

BMW South Africa begins to export the fourth generation X3 game (SUV), which produces the Roslin plant near Britia in the United States since 2026, but it acknowledges that it depends on “geopolitical effects”.

The Roslin plant is one of the three plants worldwide, which produces X3 for global markets (with BMW plants in the United States and China)-and the only plant vehicle (PEV) X3 models that produce both internal combustion machine (ice) and plug-in hybrid electricity.

Peters said that the BMW Group has a strategy of technical openness, which helps the fluctuation with the roslin plant’s export market.

Golmeer said that BMW has created 5 700 direct work in the country, including 2 500 partners at the Roslin plant, 500 in the National Sales Center, and 24 000 through the retail and supplier network.
