Dubai: Bangladesh international player Shohelli Octter has been banned from all kinds of cricket for five years after acknowledging the five violations of the ICC’s anti -corruption code, the ruling team of the game said.

Octar approached a fellow Bangladeshi player and offered 13,000 (000 16,000) to dismiss the wicket at the Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa by 2023.

Akhtar, who did not engage in the unnamed player, said.

Najmul Abedin Bahim, the director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board and the Chairman of the Women’s Division, said that the actions of the October were “unfortunate”.

“We have a zero tolerance in this regard and we are trying hard to prevent repairing at all levels of Bangladesh cricket,” Bahim said.

A 36 -year -old spinner, Antter, has played 13 T20 and two ODIs for his country. He last played for Bangladesh in 2022.

On the allegations, Octder agreed to delay or prohibit his conduct.
