The case was related to the killing of Jaswant Singh and his son Darundeep Singh in Saraswati Vihar on November 1, 1984. The robbery and destroyed their property, set fire to their house, and caused severe injuries to their family members and relatives.
On November 1, 2023, Sajjan Kumar’s report was registered in which he denied all the allegations against him. The case was initially started with the FIR at the Punjabi Bagh police station, but was later acquired by a special inquiry committee, which was Judge GP. The Mathur Committee was set up, which eventually struck the charges.
Sajjan Kumar is currently serving a life imprisonment in another anti -Sikh riots in Delhi.
