Best Tennis Academy in America
This article is written for the parents of junior tennis players who hope in scholarships at college or even a professional career. My first advice is to look for a private tennis coach that suits your child. Nevertheless, for those tennis parents who want to send their child to the Tennis Academy, I strongly recommend that my own research, compare all the benefits and disadvantages, including the quality of coaching, education, boarding school and prices. I also recommend you to read my previous articles “Choosing a Tennis Academy” and “How to find a good tennis coach?”
One more thing to remember is that the chance of going for each player is very slim. So never give up school.
In the contemporary world, everything is about rating and brand. Before buying something valuable, people look at the rankings: universities, cars, resorts, etc. Today I am going to talk about my five best academies for junior tennis players. I will only take into account those academies that provide boarding and education for my students. In my article I will not take into account the USA training center in Boca Raton.
I do not pretend that my approach is perfect and certainly there is no scientific research. This is just my opinion and can be different from yours. At the same time, I tried to do it as importantly as possible. I took into account the following factors: the presence of highly qualified tennis trainers with good reputation and background, location, individual approach to the development of players and prices.
1. Nick Bollettrii Junior Tennis Academy
It is no surprise that my number one is Nick Bollettieri Junior Tennis Academy (NBTA). NBTA is the most famous and recognized tennis academy in the US with excellent records of the development of world players, including Serena and Venus Williams, Andre Agassi, Monica Seles and many others. The Academy has a comprehensive approach to the training process, good tennis facilities and school programs. However, it is also the most expensive tennis academy in the world. Those who could consider sending their child to NBTA are parents who have a lot of money and who are ready to spend on a well -developed brand supported by the strongest company in the sports industry, IMG.
2. Saviano Tennis Academy
I placed the tennis academy of Saniano in second place. The Academy is located in the plantation, fl. Nick Saviano also has a good record in working with world -class players like Sloane Stephens, and he himself was a world -class player. His academy is relatively small and has a family atmosphere. Unlike many other academies, dormitories live with families friendly to tennis around the Academy.
3. Evert Tennis Academy
The academy I placed third is Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton, Fl. It also has a very good history of the development of strong tennis players. Like NBTA, he has a partnership with IMG. Some of the most important contemporary tennis players who have experienced Evert Tennis Academy are Peng Shuai and Madison Keys. And the cost of one year is lower than in NBTA.
All these academies have a pretty good combination of professional tennis coaching, education and advent. Keep in mind that in many cases you need to consider the price for the tournament, private lessons, entertainment, insurance, etc. when considering the total budget.
If you want to send your child there, think twice, compare all options before deciding.
