It was a slightly fresh, beautiful sunny day at Palm Beach Gardens in Florida and there were many great matches. The clay courts are here in good condition, with underground watering, so they will remain connected during the day. This public facility has a nice clothing store, a pull and a good small restaurant (sandwiches, salads, etc.).

Susan Boyer won the 60s for the second direct year and won back in the back of the three settlers and gathered from launch in both matches. She defeated Christina Kaus 36 64 62 in the final, which lasted approximately three hours. Kaus pounded the ball and Boyer played almost flawless tennis and repeatedly absorbed Kaus’s power. It was a good match. Erin Boynton defeated Shelly Works 64 64 to place the third.

In the 1970s I defeated Becky Timmis and Pat Purcell defeated Kathy Fulk. Kathy and Pat had a nice match, but Pat made very few mistakes and won several tight games.

Sue Kimball and Betty Wachob played near perfect tennis this week to achieve the last match in Round Robin from the 1980s.

The 1950s reached the semifinal phase and the highest seeds Susan Wright and Tisha Kilburn have barely lost games to reach semis, Wright to face Andrea Askowitz and Kilburn will play Leslie Wargo.

Eva Koksalova defeated Karin Duplessis 61 75 to win 30 singles Round Robin.

Kristen Charlton/Sue Kaleel won 40 doubles 75 64 over Koksalova/Kilburn

Adrienne Simmons/Boynton will play Charlton/Kaleel in the final of 50 doubles

Jenny Klitch and I beat Trieste McIntosh/Krista Geoffrion for an odd score of 67 61 60; In the finals we will face Susan Wright/Christine Kaus, who defeated Shelly Works/Daniel Esswein today in direct sets.

In the 1970s, Cindy Leprevost/Timmis Purcell/Jan Cochran.
