Queenslanders Kimberly Birrell and Adam Walton triumph in Pat Rafter Arena won their first titles for 2025 in Brisbane QTC Tennis International.

After the impressive starts of the season, Kimberly Birrell and Adam Walton were rewarded with their first titles in 2025 in Brisbane QTC Tennis International.
Queenslanders faced small problems in their appropriate fields when they further fixed their place inside the WTA and ATP Top 100.
Pat Rafter Arena became a happy hunting ground for Birrella in 2025, when it first picked up silver since May 2024.
In her place The biggest triumph against the world no. 8 Emma Navarro on last year’s Brisbane InternationalBirrell defeated the world no.
This year, Birrell continued her domination and improved her career best for the third week in a row. Australian no. 1 This week, 11 cities grew and moved to the world no. 75.

The 26-year-old extended her seasonal record to 13-3 after the pioneering runs in Brisbane and Singapore. In January, Birrell reached its first quarter -finals of the WTA 500 on Brisbane International, led to her debut Top 100.
After her mixed doubles, the final performance at the Australian Open 2025 along with John Patrick Smith, Birrell did the last eight in Singapore.
Adam Walton last week avenged his semifinal Pro Tour to win in Brisbane. The 25-year-old did not enter the whole tournament set when he won over the wilderness emblem of Jason Kubler to get a crown.

“It was a great two weeks when we played it in Brisbane,” he said. “I went to school here.” I trained here, so it’s nice to play the tournament here. We are on the way all year, so playing (locally) is very strange. ”
With his first ATP Challenger title since October, Walton has entered the quarter -finals of his last six Challenger tournaments.
Despite the loss in the finals, Jason Kubler had the best tournament since his return. 31-year-old upset world no.
