After many incredible years, it is the end of the era for completely tennis, because we know it as an awarded tennis program inside the center in the war memorial park and its secondary place in the Stratton Park will close at the end of this month. Tennis director Nigel Long made a difficult decision to continue in the current operation after the club was founded back in the 1990s.

Nigel started tennis in four outdoor courts, and over the years he built one of the most successful community tennis programs in the UK. He also provided funding from the LTA to extend the center in cooperation with Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council and built the most modern four Court Court Court and installed headlights in the original external courts.

Under the leadership of Nigel, tennis has grown tennis and opportunities to play immensely in the young and old players. As many of you know, Dan Fowkes, who operates a new program at the Hampshire Court, is one of the many original stories about the success of the player-trainer. Inclusive meetings were offered for players with physically disabilities, as well as for those who play to help their mental health and the deaf community.

There are too many successes to mention, but completely tennis main points include at least one Hampshire County Master for more than twenty years, an unbeaten record in the annual Basingstoke and Eskirchen Twin Town Sporting Event, Local Liga individual and team champions, awarded program, awarded program, awarded program, awarded program , awarded program, awarded program, awarded program, awarded program, awarded program, program, awarded program, awarded program, awarded program for Community College in Brighton Hill and College Queen Mary’s College, Judy Murray trains sitting in the center, numerous LTA accreditation, as well as creating many great sports partners. Nigel said: “I would like to thank everyone who was part of a completely tennis journey. From 4-year-olds in Munchkins to players in the late 1980s, which are regularly used by courts and countless players, coaches and employees, many of whom have never seen tennis as a career opportunity. The philosophy of no membership meant that tennis was really open to everyone and you were all part of our success!

I would like to thank all those who have involved and supported the tennis journey, players, coaches, parents and anyone who has worked with us over the years. We look forward to meeting you at the Hampshire Court, which plays in our new program, which currently offers adult and cardio tennis meetings.

For all our players, the National Association will be new operators with new operators who start their program on January 8 with some well -known faces in the coaching team.
