La Jolla, California-for three weeks, Ludvig åberg came around Torrey Pines, sent 9-UNDER 63 during the first round of Open Farmers Insurance Open and looked predetermined to win another PGA Tour title.
Then hell hit. After the second round åberg was violently ill and tried to pass over three and four days. He reportedly got sick on the pitch and the Swede said he had lost eight pounds in two days because of this “mysterious” disease.
“I don’t know.” If I knew it, I would tell you, ”said åberg when they asked him if he had a diagnosis.
“My first initial reaction was food poisoning because it was a kind of timeline, but then it moved a little to the fever. I don’t know. I only know that it wasn’t pleasant and I’m glad I’m over it. ”
Åberg withdrew from AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-am the following week when his stomach error turned into cooling. He worked in Monterrey and published 5-Nad 77 years before his body forced him to call it after the first round. He needed to relax.
But now, two weeks later, he is back in southern California, again feels healthy and is ready to avenge.
“As the reports have disintegrated that we would come back here, I was excited,” said åberg.
“I love this place.” I think it’s one of the best golf courses we play. (Thursday) was hard, but today was a much more normal days Torrey Pines with the Western Wind and the Sunny Sky. Really pleased I’m here again. ”
Åberg sits on 4-pod over 36 holes and in Friday the 6-UNDER 66 championships to climb the ranking. It is four strokes behind Davis Thompson, who shot 66 of his own.
