The Duo of the Olympic Gold Medals Matt Ebden and John Peers were recognized with the Order of Australia (OAM) medals at the Australia ceremony in 2025.

Ebden and colleagues were awarded the honor of their sport service after winning gold in the men’s doubles at the Paris Olympic Games 2024 – the first Australian tennis gold medal from Todda Woodbridge and Mark Woodford won men’s doubles in Atlanta 1996.

Last January, Ebden paired with Rohan Bopanna to win his second Grand Slam Doubles title at the Australian Open 2024, which was driven by World no. 1.

The 37-year-old Ebden took part in the second ATP final in November and, together with Alex de Minaur, won the highest honor of Australian tennis, Newcombe Medal.

John Peers ended up at a high level of 2024 and transferred this form to the New Year. Victorian won two ATP singles titles along with Jamie Murray to finish the season, and along with Olivia Gadecki won the Mixel Doubles title at the Australian Open 2025.

Late Craig Glennon, former co -chairman of tennis officials Australia, also won the Australia Day Day award. Glennon received OAM for his minis service as an official and administrator.

South Australian was a tennis representative for 49 years and during this range he served as a court official, referee, referee, chairman of the referee and coach of the referee.

He was a member of the Australia tennis officials as part of the South Australia Division and in 2022 he was awarded the Tennis Award Award.
