Canada Rebecca Marino goes to the L&T Mombaj Open semifinal.
The second seeded Marino defeated Japanese Mai Hontama 6-3, 6-4 during Friday’s WTA 125 quarter-finals.
Marino fired seven ES and won 73 percent of its maid opening points, while transferring five of the six attempts to break in a match that was completed in an hour, 19 minutes.
The 34-year-old from Toronto will play in the semifinal of Thailand Mananchaya Sawangkaew.
