Mayo Clinic Ortho & Sports Medicine

Mayo Clinic’s Orthopedics and Sports Medicine department in Rochester, Minnesota, is launching a Saturday morning injury clinic catering to middle school, high school, and college athletes who have sustained injuries during recent sports activities. This clinic extends its services to athletes from schools across Southeast Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, and Northern Iowa.

Running from September 2 to October 14, the clinic opens at 8 a.m. every Saturday and is located on the third floor of the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. While scheduling appointments by calling 507-266-6690 is encouraged, walk-ins are also welcomed. The last appointment available is at 11 a.m., and insurance will be billed for the provided services.

The clinic is staffed by a team of skilled professionals, including physicians, physical therapists, and athletic trainers. They offer a range of services, such as X-rays, the evaluation and management of acute injuries, splinting, bracing, crutch fitting and instruction, and rehabilitation.

For athletes under the age of 18, it’s necessary for a parent or guardian to accompany them to the clinic. For further details, you can contact them at 507-266-6690.
