Inter Milan has established a €50 million asking price for Italy international Federico Dimarco, drawing interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Nerazzurri are keen on extending Dimarco’s stay at San Siro and are willing to double his annual salary of €2 million to retain him.

Nevertheless, competition for the Italy defender is fierce, with Manchester United and PSG closely monitoring his situation at Inter, as per Calciomercato.

Dimarco, 25, has previously garnered attention from Chelsea and Manchester City, according to 90min. In July, Newcastle United explored a move for the Inter star, as exclusively reported by FootballTransfers.

Although Inter is in negotiations for a new deal with Dimarco, an agreement has not yet been reached.

Calciomercato reports that Inter values him at a minimum of €50 million, with several top European clubs expressing interest. Despite this, Dimarco reportedly prefers to remain at San Siro.

What has been said?

Following their victory against Empoli in September, the Italian expressed his intentions, saying, “I don’t foresee any issues; I am definitely eager to extend my contract with Inter.”

Inter’s CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, also weighed in on Dimarco’s future after that match, emphasizing, “Dimarco’s commitment to the club is evident, and we are elated and proud of it.

He continues to make progress, and he is still quite young. We will soon convene to discuss an extension to his contract.”

Dimarco’s current Expected Transfer Value (xTV) stands at a modest €16 million, as indicated by FootballTransfers’ AI-driven proprietary algorithm. His current contract with Inter is set to conclude in June 2026.

Amid a left-back injury crisis that prompted the loan signing of Sergio Reguilon during the summer, following injuries to both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, Manchester United is reportedly monitoring Dimarco closely.

Reguilon is presently unavailable for selection as well, with Victor Lindelof filling in at full-back against Brentford prior to the international break.
