While Max Verstappen basked in the glow of an unforgettable weekend, the Qatar Grand Prix proved to be one Sergio Perez would rather put behind him. Looking ahead, the Red Bull Racing driver is focused on the upcoming Formula 1 weekends in the United States and Mexico.

Perez, who secured just a single point in the Qatar F1 weekend, is eager to deliver a strong performance for his devoted fans, who are expected to turn out in force.

“I’m anticipating the next few weeks of racing. Austin and Mexico are two of my favorite stops on the calendar, with incredible support from the fans. It means a lot to me, even when I can’t hear it in the car, I can feel it,” expressed Perez ahead of the F1 race at the Circuit of the Americas.

Acknowledging the need to bring his A-game at COTA, Perez conveyed his confidence in their performance potential: “I know I have to get back to my best at COTA, it’s a fun circuit to drive and I am confident we can perform there. I was in Milton Keynes last week working very hard with the Team to ensure we are as best prepared as possible for the coming weeks.”

The Red Bull campus witnessed extensive discussions between Perez and his team, with a focus on evaluating their recent performance. “We had some productive conversations and I spent time with my engineers to ensure we know where we have been excelling, where things have faltered, and how we can make improvements,” shared Perez.
