Sandi also emphasized that all decisions in this matter must be carefully considered. He cited the impact of the MotoGP, which has been held twice in Mandalika. The hosting of this global motorcycle racing event has also created numerous job opportunities for the local populace.

It has to be calculated comprehensively. Last year, I calculated that the impact of the MotoGP in Mandalika has already generated over 30,000 job opportunities,” Sandi mentioned.

Sandi further stated that the government will coordinate with relevant parties, including the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and Formula 1.
