‘MMA Junkie’ broke the news that lightweight contender Paul Felder will replace long-time color commentator Joe Rogan for this weekend’s UFC event. Felder will join Daniel Cormier and play-by-play coordinator Jon Anik for commentary, with Megan Olivi as the in-arena reporter.

Rogan opted out of the demanding international travel a few years ago, leading to a rotation of commentators for overseas events. Felder previously took on this role during UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi last October.

The main event will showcase a lightweight rematch between Islam Makhachev (24-1 MMA) and Alex Volkanovski (26-2 MMA). They first clashed in February at UFC 284, where Makhachev secured a unanimous decision victory.

In the co-main event, former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman (20-3 MMA) will face Khamzat Chimaev (12-0 MMA). Usman aims to rebound after consecutive losses to Leon Edwards, while the undefeated Chimaev’s last victory was against Kevin Holland (25-10 MMA) at UFC 279.

UFC 294 kicks off at 10 a.m. ET, with the main card commencing at 2 p.m. on PPV. Will you tune in? Share your fight predictions in the comments!
