FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Gulf Coast University men’s golf team is riding high on their recent victory at the Badger Invitational as they prepare to compete in the ETSU Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate from Sunday to Tuesday.

Their triumph at the Badger Invitational marked their first win of the season, led by head coach Andrew Danna, and their first since March 2022.

Fifteen formidable teams will gather amidst the picturesque hills of Tennessee, including Augusta, Charleston, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, ETSU, FGCU, Furman, Georgia Southern, Louisiana Tech, Liberty, Loyola Marymount, Penn State, Rutgers, Toledo, and Virginia Tech.

Each day of the three-day tournament will feature an 18-hole round at the Blackthorn Club. FGCU is slated to begin their campaign on Sunday morning at hole No. 1, teeing off at 8:30 a.m. Golf enthusiasts can follow live stats on Golfstat.

Representing the Green & Blue in the Volunteer State will be Austin Cherichella, Joseph Sullivan, Matt Millar, Sebastian Gamboa, and Evan Thompson. Last season, FGCU secured a fourth-place finish at the same event.
