New Bloomfield’s Moss Secures Back-to-Back All-State Honors in Girls Golf

In her final high school round, New Bloomfield’s Dixie Moss secured her second consecutive all-state honor, finishing fifth out of 94 participants in the Class 1 state championships at Sedalia Country Club. Dixie Moss achieved her best state round with a 17-over 87 on Day 2, following her previous record-breaking performance. Her two-round total was 36-over 176, with 11 pars, 15 bogeys, and 10 double bogeys.

Joseph Robinson, the New Bloomfield girls’ golf coach, praised Dixie’s performance, highlighting her improvement from the first day and her consistent play throughout the round. Despite some challenges on the course, Dixie remained focused and determined.

Clover Moss tied for 76th place with a score of 239 (121, 118), and Nataleigh White tied for 90th with 248 (127, 121). While their scores may not have met their expectations, Robinson commended their effort and attitude on the course.

Dixie Moss and Nataleigh White concluded their high school careers, with Dixie set to play college golf at State Fair Community College. South Harrison secured the team title, and Kameryn Wood and Rylee Allred shared the individual title.
