In the race to the Chandigarh Golf League Season 2 semi-finals, the Hunting Hawks scored a resounding 4-3 win against the Soaring Eagles at the Chandigarh Golf Club. In another marquee clash, Captain’s 18 triumphed over Punjab Aces, securing their place in the next round with a 4.5-2.5 victory.

The Mulligans made their first semi-final appearance by defeating Homeland Chandigarh Gladiators with a score of 4.5-2.5. Meanwhile, the Fairway Comets outperformed the Swinging Samurai, achieving a convincing 5.5-1.5 win.

Hunting Hawks Vs Soaring Eagles

The Hunting Hawks faced a tough battle with the Soaring Eagles but ultimately clinched the victory. They secured 1.5 out of 2 points in the singles games, with key performances from Jaspreet Bakshi and Puneet Dhiman. Gurpreet Bakshi and Sachin Bansal also contributed to the team’s win. The Hawks secured their spot in the semi-finals with minimum playoff scenarios after RS Dagar and Chiranjeev Singh won their game. SPS Matharoo’s solid birdie on the 17th hole sealed the victory.

The Mulligans Vs Homeland Chandigarh Gladiators

The Mulligans dominated their match against Homeland Chandigarh Gladiators, leading from the start and securing their place in the semi-finals. Bismad Singh and Shiraz Monga claimed victories in the singles games, while the Mulligans excelled in the fourball pairs, scoring 3.5 out of 5 points.

Fairway Comets Vs Swinging Samurai

In the third quarter-final, the Fairway Comets dominated the singles games, thanks to Sagar Arora and Prithvi Sandhu. BS Gill and Ramnik Tiwana secured the only full point for the Swinging Samurai as the Comets dominated the match.

Punjab Aces Vs Captain’s 18

In the final quarter-final, last year’s runners-up, Punjab Aces, faced the table-topping Captain’s 18. Despite a strong performance from Aces skipper Mivaan Singh, Captain’s 18 claimed the majority of the points, winning the match with a 4.5-2.5 score.
