Pat Freiermuth Set to Return for Week 7

Pittsburgh Steelers’ tight end, Pat Freiermuth, is determined to make his comeback from a hamstring injury in Week 7. Freiermuth had a strong start to the season, playing the first four games and accumulating eight catches for 53 yards and two touchdowns. This performance placed him among the top-nine half-PPR tight ends in those weeks when he scored a touchdown. Freiermuth expressed his readiness to return in Week 6 if possible, but the Steelers had a bye week. It appears he’ll be in good shape to deliver a top-10 tight end performance.

Deshaun Watson Making Progress, Day-to-Day

Cleveland Browns’ quarterback, Deshaun Watson, is making strides in his recovery from a deep bruised rotator cuff. Head coach Kevin Stefanski has labeled him as “day-to-day” and mentioned that Watson has resumed throwing. Initially, Watson came close to playing in Week 4 but ended up sitting out, with no evident progress during the Week 5 bye. However, Stefanski now sees signs of improvement, raising the possibility of his return by Week 7, with this week’s practice logs serving as a vital factor.

Diontae Johnson’s Return in Sight

Diontae Johnson is making a comeback from the injured reserve list, with his 21-day practice window officially open. Johnson had been sidelined for several weeks due to a hamstring injury. Nevertheless, he is recovering well and has been designated to return. With his practice window open, he can engage in practice for up to three weeks before the team must activate him to the active roster. Johnson aims to return in Week 7, which could mean reduced work for George Pickens in the future.
