The grand ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, the largest cricket carnival, is set to kick off in Ahmedabad. Ten top teams including Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka will vie for the prestigious trophy. The opening clash between New Zealand and defending champs England will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium. This global spectacle will unfold across various Indian cities from October 5 to 9, showcasing the world’s cricketing talent.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, optimistic about the “Men in Blue’s” chances, noted that the host nation often enjoys luck in the tournament. The enthusiasm of Indian cricket fans is expected to fill the stadiums to capacity, carrying forward the tradition of hosts winning the World Cup, which began in 2011 when MS Dhoni’s Indian team clinched the title.
