Kelati's 10K Victory Earns Her USATF Athlete of the Week Recognition

Weini Kelati, hailing from Flagstaff, Arizona and representing USATF Arizona, showcased her exceptional prowess by clinching victory in the USATF women’s 10K Championships. Throughout the latter half of the race, Kelati maintained her lead, eventually sealing her triumph with a finishing time of 31:57, a commanding 43 seconds ahead of Kurgat. She narrowly missed breaking the course record by just five seconds, marking her first victory on the 2023 USATF Running Circuit.
