Bronco Men Shine on National Stage

“The Boise State men’s cross country squad made its debut in this season’s national rankings, securing the 23rd spot, according to the announcement from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday.

Among Mountain West teams, the Broncos secured the second-highest position with 94 points, trailing No. 18 New Mexico (136) by five places.

Additionally, in the USTCCCA West Regional Rankings, the Blue and Orange claimed the second position, marking a notable six-spot ascent from the previous ranking.

Their recognition follows their impressive performance at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, where they claimed an impressive 18th-place finish and outperformed eight nationally-ranked teams at that time.

This is the team’s highest national ranking since 2021 when they held the 20th spot in week 6.

On October 27, Boise State will host the MW Cross Country Championships at Eagle Island Park in Eagle, Idaho.”
