NFL Futures Betting Odds 2023-24: Best Picks for Super Bowl 58 Entering Week 4

Super Bowl 58 Futures Betting Odds for 2023-24 NFL Season: Top Selections as of Week 4

As we approach the quarter mark of the 2023-24 NFL season, the Super Bowl LVIII landscape remains shrouded in uncertainty. Three teams stand undefeated, yet no clear favorite has emerged to seize the championship.

Consistently, a handful of teams have jockeyed for the top positions in NFL futures odds, with one notable change this week as a team previously ousted by a division rival has reclaimed a coveted spot.

Curiously, two of the three frontrunners in NFL futures odds are among the undefeated ranks, while the reigning champion finds itself further down the hierarchy with a 2-1 record. Keep in mind, it’s still early in the season, and these teams have had limited opportunities to distinguish themselves from the pack.

So, as Week 4 approaches, let’s scrutinize the three teams that Las Vegas believes have the best shot at triumphing in Super Bowl LVIII come February.

San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl Odds: +600

The San Francisco 49ers maintain their pole position in NFL futures odds as we head into Week 4, retaining the same spot they occupied last week but with slightly improved odds (+600, up from +650).

The rationale behind this optimism in San Francisco is readily apparent. Under Kyle Shanahan’s guidance, the 49ers have strung together an impressive 13-game winning streak in the regular season. They currently rank fourth in the league in total offensive yards per game, boasting an average of 399 yards. A significant contributor to their offensive prowess is Christian McCaffrey, who leads the league in rushing yards with a total of 353 and has found the end zone three times this season.

However, the 49ers’ dominance isn’t confined to their offensive exploits; it’s characterized by balance on both sides of the field. They have surrendered only 42 points, the fifth-lowest in the league, and they share the second-highest interception count this season, with five.

As they gear up for their Week 4 clash with division rivals, the Arizona Cardinals, the 49ers face a minor hurdle with star wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk nursing injuries—a rib/knee issue for Samuel and a shoulder concern for Aiyuk. While Samuel was unable to practice on Thursday, Aiyuk shed his non-contact jersey during the same session. Although their absence in Week 4 may pose a challenge, it’s unlikely to significantly impact San Francisco’s prospects, given their potent ground game and formidable defense.
